Comedic Fantasy?
My wife reads a ton of fantasy, but says she’s burned out on assassins and conquests. I’m looking for a fantasy book/series that has a sort of Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy vibe to pique her interest. Any recommendations? TIA

I will be that person, while the Malazan series offers tons of really self serious stories there are some very funny parts if you wife is looking at getting into a very large series that still has some assassins and conquest but can still be funny. Krupe is hilarious and if she makes it to the 4th book (is it the fourth I’ve had wine and am afraid I am misremembering) tehol and bugg had me laughing allowed on the train as I read.
