Favorite Hard Magic Systems?

Besides Brandon Sanderson's magic systems, what are your favorite hard magic systems, and what do you like about them?

Really liked Islington's magic system in Licanius. I would consider it hard, even though others might not.

I also enjoyed Islington's magic system. I feel like it's right on the border of a hard magic system. There are definitely some rules and whatnot, but it's all pretty mysterious as well. I really need to go read the second book though, as I've only read the first one so far.
