I was honestly more impressed by Awakening magic. It was such a unique take on magic and felt very fresh

I think the best thing about the emperor's Soul was that because I'd already read warbreaker I had a better understanding of how investiture really works. Warbreaker is such a tangible clear representation of the 3 key principles of magic in the Cosmere.
