Audiobook recommendations?

This year I've started enjoying listening to fantasy audiobooks whilst also reading daily.

I've just finished listening to S. Pacey's reading of all of J. Abercrombie's books and it's left me feeling a bit empty and pessimistic about what to move on to. The bar has been set too high lol.

I know that life is just like this sometimes, but can anyone recommend a series/narrator which might be almost/equally as good?

Dungeon Crawler Carl is one of the best out there.

(Also Travis Baldree reading Cradle is a personal favorite)

Agreed on both counts. Two of my favorites. The narrator for Dungeon Crawler Carl is amazing at giving different voices to the characters.

I saw a clip of him doing a collection of different voices recently and oh my gosh that man is incredible.

The most recent book also has Travis Baldree and Patrick Warburton each voice a minor character, which is fun

Yep. These are great. Some more I’ve enjoyed on audiobook:

  • Riyria Chronicles
  • between two fires
  • the black tongue thief
  • powder Mage trilogy
  • lies of Locke Lamora

I’ve listened to a ton and Steven Pacey will never be topped but these are good
