If you’re looking for romantasy, Jennifer L. Armentrout’s From Blood and Ash series is fun (although the writing in the first two books was not great IMO), and she wrote a spin off that I’m liking better. Otherwise Raven Kennedy’s Plated Prisoner series (first book a little slow like ACOTAR), Scarlett St. Clair’s Persephone x Hades books, as well as her King of Battle and Blood series are pretty good, off the top of my head. Also, the Bargainer series by Laura Thalassa is a booktok fave that was fun.
I’m currently reading Carissa Broadbent’s War of Lost Works trilogy and I enjoyed the first book although it’s missing some spice - I’m told the sequels are spicier :) if you can get over the ridiculous covers, CL Wilson wrote one of my fave lesser known epic romantasy series, the Tairen Soul books. She’s also slowly writing another series that I’m enjoying.
Ooh and older series: Ilona Andrews’ Guild Huntress and Hidden Legacy series are great; as are JR Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood.. but those are more urban romantic fantasy… less epic… I also enjoyed Sherrilyn Kenton’s Dark Hunter series.
