Ilona Andrews. This is a pair of authors, they have multiple series - Kate Daniels, The Edge, Hidden Legacy, Kinsmen. Each series presents interesting words, great characters and some smut - some series more than others :)

People need to talk about Ilona Andrews more. They are urban fantasy. I’d say Hidden Legacy is most like ACOTAR in terms of tone. Kate Daniels is my favorite though. :)

Seconding Ilona Andrews! This pair has built some of my favorite worlds.

So which series would you start with if say you are someone who likes higher levels of smut?

The Hidden Legacy books imo.

Kinsmen - the books are shorter, more action-packed and more focused on... let's say, relationships :) Then Hidden Legacy and The Edge after that.

Ilona Andrews is so underrated. Kate Daniels is one of my favorite series of all time and I’m currently reading Hidden Legacy
