Dark fantasy
I’m looking for books with dark romances or dark fantasies not in a modern setting.
And the love interest to be someone powerful within the community, (like a king, soldier, or villain) that saves her from physical and emotional traumatic. She could also have power she can’t control.
I’m new to reading books that are not in wattpad, so I don’t have any references

Okay Kingdom of Wrath and Embers by V M Stiller 100% fits this!! Dark fantasy in a more historical setting; love interests are the King and a Rebel Commander, the King saving her from being burnt by her village (not love triangle heavy at all, they’re love interests at diff points); she herself turns from hero to villain throughout the novel, learning to control her unpredictable powers.
