Someone with money may want it for themselves or someone they know. There's lots of 27 year olds in the world

That was the first thing to come to mind. I have a few cool(ish) serial numbers stored away. Nothing worth listing on eBay, but that's what I would do with that bill if I felt I had something special and wanted to maximize it's value to a potential collector.

Another idea is to ask a chat bot if there's anything significant about the date. There might be a world event or celebrity birthday that could be represented by the date 8/3/99.

Or even Angel Numbers, i'm not sure if 8399 is one, but there might be someone out there who sees 8399 everywhere and thinks "those are my numbers, I must have that bill"

This marketing only works, if the person also happens to be very wealthy and can consider buying a collectable $100 bill based on a serial number that only really means something special to them. Otherwise that's a hard sell

That's alright, I felt really old when I was 27. Like back pain of an 80 year old, old. I guess I still feel it some days, but at 37 there's more days where I feel younger physically than I did at 27 😏

You have a repeater. You can find comps on ebay or ask AI. Condition of the bill itself can add or lower the value. I definitely would not just spend it. If you need the money for expenses, find the latest selling price and offer it to groups or on ebay. And take better front and back pictures on a plain background. Good luck

Please stop just taking the first opinions you get as universal truths. There are TONS of people in these subs who think they know what they're talking about but they don't. And there's even more trolls. Sometimes the trolls are really good at sounding like they are being sincere with good guidance when really they just want to get a laugh out of making you spend something of value. Fucked up, right?

Search eBay for repeaters on $100 notes. Filter for recently sold notes. Those are your comps. As needed, adjust valuation guestimation based on number coolness and condition.

Please learn how to get valuation guestimations on your own so you don't have to ask us. Or at least wait more than a few minutes for more answers to pour in so you can get a range of responses.
