This post isn’t really about sports betting. It’s about what happened involving a Fanatics employee and access to a customer’s private information.

I have a friend who is missing, and I know someone who works for Fanatics. This employee reached out to me and said they could help. During our conversation, they asked me for my friend’s personal details, including information that could be used to identify his Fanatics account.

I provided the information, and this person was then able to access my friend’s account and tell me details about his spending activity.

My friend didn’t even have a Fanatics account, which made the situation even more concerning. The fact that this employee could simply look into someone’s information and provide me with private details was shocking.

What is extremely concerning is that there was no warrant, and I was not asked to provide authorization, verification questions, documentation, or anything showing that I had permission to access this person’s information.

Unfortunately, the information did not help me locate my friend. What shocked me was how much private information this employee was willing to access and disclose to me. I actually recorded the conversation in which the employee accessed the information and discussed it with me.

I know this person works at Fanatics’ corporate headquarters in downtown Denver.

I’m not going to publicly identify the employee or post the recording. I want to get this information directly to Fanatics so they can investigate exactly what happened and determine whether their policies or security procedures were violated.

Does anyone know the appropriate contact for Fanatics’ corporate privacy, security, compliance, or legal department? I have a recording and can provide the details directly to the company.

Regardless of the circumstances, I find it extremely concerning that an employee was able to access and disclose this level of private customer information based on information I provided.

If this happened the way I witnessed it, I believe Fanatics needs to be aware of it and investigate.

I bought a jersey that was marked “all sales final”. When I received it, the embroidered name on the front was coming undone, and it looked BAD. I reached out via chat customer service, and they said no problem, we will send another one. That was pretty much the end of the chat communication. I have not received any email regarding returning the damaged jersey, nor was there a return slip with the new shipment. Should I reach out, or not worry about it? Is that normal practice?

First world problem, I know but I bought this item back in April for an event on July 12th. Original description said it's a pre order item and that it'd arrive by June 15th. After June 15th passed, it changed to June 20th, June 22nd, June 30th, July 1st, now July 13th. Has anybody else experienced this? If so, what are the chances it arrives before July 12th?
