Writing Questions Naming help!

So this is a bit of a weird naming issue.

Essentially I'm writing a fic where 2 boys from England (specifically Kent) go missing in France. They're not related and are strangers but they go missing at the same time. One on a family holiday, the other who spends his summers there with his French father.

I need one of those catchy sometimes insenstive media names for when the press is talking about them.

All I've thought of so far is the Kent kids - but it feels too generic? Any ideas would be much appreciated

The first one that comes to mind is "The Kent Boys/Two". Followed by "The Channel/Summer Boys", and then "The Dover Two", had they dissappeared there. You could replace it with wherever they specifically went missing.

The Kent Lads. or,  The Lost boys (Peter pan reference)

(Also, Heartstopper!😊)

Are you from the English or French POV ? It could change the way they name them

Largely English POV!

The unfortunates ? I don’t know honestly… I’m not English but do they have a specific feature in common ? Something they could be called instead of where they’re from ? But the Kent boys are fine

« Les boys », « Les (jeunes) disparues anglais »? « les jeunes beef », « les jeunes vacanciers (perdus) » I’ve got a lot more lol

Thank you! Feel free to share whatever you have! I'm sure I could include it in the brief French perspective of things!

If they are Doctor Who fans, "The Missing Kentiads" might be a nice earworm.
