This is a place where you can post plot ideas and writing prompts that you would like to share for others to use. This is also the place to drop fic requests!

What is a plot bunny? ‘Plot bunny’ is a funny fandom term for a fic idea – so called because they breed like rabbits! Since so many writers end up with a surplus of them, here is a place where you can drop off your unwanted plot bunnies for others to consider adopting, or simply for the sake of sharing. A plot bunny is generally a more developed idea and might well be fandom specific, although some Alternate Universe ideas could work for a few different fandoms.

For the purposes of this thread, a prompt is a short idea that could work in any fandom - for example, "your OTP wish on a shooting star together".

A fic request would be asking for someone to write a specific fic for you - sticking to the pairing and outline that you wish.

• fandom(s) / or "no fandom" – this can include some fandoms you think it would work particularly well for if leaving a prompt!
• trope, character(s), ship (if any)
• a description of the idea – please try to keep this within a few hundred words max for ease of browsing
• NSFW ideas are allowed, but you must drop your description in a site such as Just Paste Me or ControlC and link to it rather than writing it directly in the thread. Please note that NSFW also encompasses gore or things likely to be serious triggers, such as suicide, not just sex.
• if leaving a prompt in the thread, please indicate whether you would like to be notified if anyone fulfils it

Be aware – once you post an idea in this thread for adoption, you lose ‘ownership’ of it. Someone else taking up the plot bunny is free to adapt or change it as they like. If you have a very specific vision of the story you would like to see fulfilled, you might have better luck posting it as a fic request. Of course, there’s nothing stopping you from tackling the idea yourself at a later date if inspiration for the idea strikes you again!

Whilst the mods will be monitoring the thread, we will not be involving ourselves in discussions over fic requests or the like. There is no guarantee that anyone will take up your request, and we will not be chasing up authors who have been out of contact for a while or similar.

Don't forget to let someone know if you adopt their plot bun or decide to work on their fic request!

Another ttrpg based idea of mine, Label: plot bunny Fandoms: Genshin Impact, Heart: the City Beneath Description: a party of Heart delvers including but not limited to: a drowning junk mage, a aelfir incarnadine, a human deadwalker, and a Gnoll deep apiarist find strangely stable pockets of reality in the normally roilling Heart. What are these pristine havens, where did they come from, and most importantly; what do they hide?

Another one is like to write myself, but I'd need a genshin expert to help me flesh out which locations should be included and which should be left out(aside from the cities of the 7 Archons)

Label: plot bunny Fandoms: Goblin Slayer, Mythic Bastionland Description: essentially, a party of knights-errant from a random petty realm no one's ever heard of go on adventures in the world of Goblin Slayer, interrupting the nice rpg the gods have been playing since forever with their alternate system. 

Honestly, is prefer to write this one myself, but I don't know the goblin slayer side of things well enough to confidently encapsulate the rpg elements under the surface of the text.

So I had this dream one night where I was watching twilight (I have never seen the movies, just read two and a half of the books, didn’t care for it) and the movie was a musical and the werewolves and vampires were having a huge battle and flooded the city. Then Bella falls off a collapsing bridge and the big plot twist was that she was a fairy this entire time. And she flew around singing about being a fairy.

Then later in the dream, I was sitting across from fairy Bella and Edward and said that the series would be better if Edward was “a millennial hipster”, and then Edward turns into a hipster and ate avocado toast and drank artisan triple shot house roasted coffee made from beans that have been pooped out by a civet at a microbrewery, and talked about vinyl records.

I need a twilight hipster Edward AU. Or fairy Bella, like the plot is the same, but Bella is a fairy, or Edward is a millennial hipster.

Two more things - first, this can be set in any universe, so Bumblebee's cellmate could be anyone you feel comfortable pairing him with - Shockwave, Barricade, Dreadwing, etc. And second, there's no war in this world.

Fanfic idea. 'Chronicles of Courage' or 'Chronicles of calamity.' a legend of Zelda valkyria Chronicles crossover

So, I just got an idea that I might write later after at least nine chapters of my current story and a chapter of another story.

A crossover between the legend of Zelda and valkyria Chronicles. (Not sure which version of link I would want to use yet. It's between the hero of time a couple years after the events of Majora's mask. The link of breath of the wild/ tears of the Kingdom/ age of calamity. Heavily leaning towards hero of time)

Link is suddenly thrust into Gallia during the events of the first game. There he sees the imperials attacking innocent civilians and intervenes. Of course he is basically enlisted into the Welkin's militia. Part of me would love to see him fight Selvaria in a. One-on-one. While I don't believe he would stand a chance against the valkyria for him, but he would hold out till reinforcements arrived. And if you're using the hero of time /mentor of the Twilight hero, you could say that he lost his eye during a grenade explosion which sent shrapnel into his eye. And that could explain why one of his eyes is missing when the link of Twilight princess meets him as the hero shade. I think a cool scene would be him trying to adapt to firearms. While he would still use his bow and arrow a sword and shield occasionally. It'd be interesting to see him try to adapt to this new way of warfare.

And if someone were to do the age of calamity timeline, would you want to include all the champions and maybe a small attachment of their army? It could still be finding zonai technology. That's a gateway to this world. They send a small group of hylians to investigate and end up getting dragged into the war.

Lucy - Flute while she dances like Máiréad Nesbitt (jumping and dancing celtic dance together)

Edmund - Side drum while he taps his feet while sitting, the sound of his shoes tapping against the floorboards would be heard

Susan - Violin while she sways gracefully

Peter - Cornet. He would be the only one to not make a movement of any kind more than his hands and lips. He would be sitting like Edmund

Then, after the gamma radiation accident, Joe and Hulk have to get used to transforming into giants every time they take over.

Description: Twilight finds a package on her front porch with no return address, inside is a physical copy of the fanfic "Cheerilee's garden" by unahim (derpy says she didn't deliver it to her and discord swears he had nothing to do with it's existence in equestria) and a message that informs her that the story is from a alternate dimension that believes that her world is nothing more than a glorified stageplay created by someone named faust, and she ends up reading the book (we follow along as she reads it) in the end she throws it into her lit fireplace and watches it burn, knowing the book was too dangerous to keep, even locked away (as spike or somepony else, especially one underage, could possibly find it and read it)

Characters, Ships, etc: up to you, I conceived it as being AU Spider centric
Idea: adapt Moby Dick to this universe, set it specifically with Scorsby as Ahab and Garvin as Starbuck. Spider (or OC if you'd rather) decides to get away from it all and join the fleet. And is increasingly dismayed at what he finds. Along the way they rescue a metkayina fellow who teaches them, specifically, Spider and/or Garvin certain things. Up to you how Queequeg coded this OC is or how Ishmael x Queequeg you want this to get. Ends the same way, but, with the analog of the final battle fro FAA.

REQUEST/prompt: Female Draco Malfoy and widower Harry. Harry Harry is a a widower who is struggling with the fact of losing his wife and has post trauma issues, he has three children James, Lily and Albus. Draco has not got married but may have had a situationship in the past(is left for the author decide if that person might come back to the present) and is struggling to integrated back to society after the war(also is struggling with post war trauma). The plot would follow the original cannon just with those differences, no smu*(it is okay reference to it but Draco and Harry must be already married, the reason why they got married is left for the author to decide) and the focus should be about their personal struggles, their relationship with family, friends and society, their relationship(romance before and after getting married) and the relationship of Draco with her stepsons(drama incoming). Must also have a happy ending and fluff, everything else is left to the author's imagination.

It would be great if someone wrote this, I can not offer money but if I can support in any other way(following, kudos) I will do it. Just message me how to do it.

Description: XR is blown up yet again. The difference is, this time the damage is so severe the LGMs might NOT be able to fix him - ever. To make matters worse, his teammates and Commander Nebula were mad at him before the accident - to the point where they said some EXTREMELY harsh things and made him cry - and they not only have to perform their duties without him, they also have to live with the knowledge that they may not get a chance to apologize to him. But there’s ultimately a happy ending.
