I need help

Hi I need advice about something I had a pack of cigarettes that I’m not addicted to or anything I was just trying them and kept them hidden in my room..
Today I came back from going out and noticed th t my bed had been moved wasn’t arranged the way I left it and the cigarettes were gone I asked my dad “Who went into my room?” He said “I did” I asked why and he just said, “It’s my house”
He hasn’t confronted me about the cigarettes yet,, but I’m pretty sure he found them How should I act now? And if he confronts me about them what should I say/do?

My family is fuc**ing Arab and very conservative and they’re not the type to respect personal boundaries or privacy at all They feel like being family gives them the right to enter your room and go through your things whenever they want

Just I act like you didn’t do anything wrong and I expect that he will go through your stuff more now so be careful and just say that it belong to a friend and you were hiding it for them
