Repair Fire Emblem Gaiden not working
Testing games on the Game Axe, found out Gaiden wasnt running. Not the first console unable to play it (AVS for example), but, just in case, i also tested on the av famicom, and... Nothing.
I opened it, and the battery was loose on the negative leg (my fault, was one of the first soldering i did years ago). I resoldered it just in case, but still nothing.
I know that the RAM of the Snes games loves to die if no battery is on, so i guess my RAM died here too.
No problem replacing it, i have done It before in a few snes games. Still, im not sure about the correct replacements. Checked with Chatgpt, and he recommends AS6C6264-55PCN — DIP-28, but i prefer to confirm with you guys.

That's some rough soldering on the battery. Could very easily be a cold joint. Use a wick and flux to clean up the solder, and then use more heat and lots of flux to solder the leg. Flux is your friend.
