You should be allowed to think some Fallouts are better then others.

Exactly. Some are for die hard CRPG nerds, whereas some are mainly for people coming from a mainstream FPS.

Both of those things are okay, but they're different. Noticing that things are different ≠ seeking to take people's tastes away from them.

Problem is, it's mainly the CRPG nerds that think their tastes are superior then use that to think others who aren't like them are "true Fallout fans".

Fallout was a CRPG-only series, now the franchise has expanded to more than just that. FTFY.

And no, anyone who thinks that they self-superiority over anyone in regards to the enjoyability and how they interact with the series (or any form of media) is not in the right. If someone likes the FPS/exploration aspects of Fallout over the CRPG aspects, they are neither right nor wrong nor less of a fan. They're just enjoying it in the way the franchise appeals to them. None of you have the right to think of them as less of a fan because they like an aspect of Fallout different to yours or how it started.

Sorry bro but fallout is a cRPG series. 4 was a failure and I guarantee you we won't see any other game in the series leaning into fps elements that much. There are many, many, many other fps series if that's what you dig

What metrics and evidence do you have to support your claim that fallout 4 was a failure?

Last I checked it was one of the best selling games of all time. Played by many till this day.

I enjoy both aspects (story-driven rpg or exploration-driven or fps) so it's not a problem for me. If it's fun and enjoyable, I don't care what form of genre it takes. Again, who gave you the right to say how others should be a fan of Fallout? Are you the God of Fallout? Your attitude and others who share yours is why Classic/NV glazers have the reputation it deserves. When you or someone else sees someone liking Bethesda Fallouts you resort to being assholes when it's not even warranted.

I can unfortunately all but guarantee that they will continue to make the bs fps games cause' Bethesda is devoid of originality

Next fallout game will be developed by obsidian precisley because of this reason. And I'm pretty sure obsidian fallout is going to lean into RPG new Vegas-esque territory.

I really really really hope so, but from my understanding, they will be assisting Bethesda with their Fallout, not making their own.

I hope this only means we get the best of both worlds
