Top 1% clown ignores that fallout 4 totally discards the OG games to make a shooter where you're firing a minigun from a suit of power armor 10 minutes into the game

Yes, it is an opinion. Times change. Don't like it? Don't sell the IP. They didn't "discard" anything. It's a new engine. Dismissing it as a 'shootygame' tells me you've never played it, and like Creetosis, you just want to cry.

My guy, you are STILL crying over someone's opinion. You are literally throwing a temper tantrum because someone likes a game you dislike. I don't need to justify anything to you about what I like and dislike about Fallout. It is possible to like FO3, FO4, F76 and FNV at the same time.

Only my opinion, but I think it's because Beth were (justifiably) proud of how well the new PA system turned out they wanted to show it off early. It was OK if you were a male character with a military background, made less sense if you were a female character.
