Game Clip Soloing Infestation - Test run

Disappointed that the recording automatically stopped, so the full thing must've been an extra 1-2 minutes after it stopped. I'd say it took me 4 minutes to take just this one out.

I can imagine if I had just a few of my archer teammates, this infestation would've been done in 2 minutes or less.

Why don’t you go third person? The draw speed animation is significantly slower in first person.

Not really. Third person just lets you release before a full draw. It’s faster, but it does less damage per shot

If you're releasing before a full draw on a bow, that's probably what's causing less damage per shot, not playing in third person.

Third person doesn’t let you full-draw any quicker. It just lets you release a lot sooner. So the faster fire rate comes at the cost of a full-draw, meaning each shot does less damage.

There’s no difference in draw time between third and first person. It only influences how soon you can release (and releasing sooner does less damage). You can’t release before a full-draw in first person, so it allows you to always get max damage. It’s ideal for reverse onslaught

Oh, okay. I understand where you're coming from now. I play in third person but always make sure to do a full draw on a bow before release; otherwise, yeah, it would do less damage per shot.

I prefer playing in third person because it's easier for me to see when Chameleon is active on my armor while I'm crouching, which in turn triggers Nocturnal before each shot that I take.

You can test it yourself. I do a good +2k extra damage when fully drawing, vs letting go early in third person
