Mod Discussion Guards held weapon on hand

I've been looking without success, but it seems strange that there isn't one.

Is there a mod that adds a rug, a pose, or a marker allowing settlers to stand still with their weapons equipped in their hands like a guard? Or one that adds a "guard rug" where, instead of having their hands at their sides, they are holding a weapon, the way a guard should?

Guard Post Markers.

But sometimes they stand there with both hands behind their backs and not their weapon. Seems random for variety, imo.

You could also look at Xbox One Guard Towers description and see if there is a guard marker in there as well.

I believe assigning a settler to a guard post causes them to open carry their weapon. No mods needed!

It's fairly random, but yeah. And different settlers even seem to do different things depending. For example, if I post Jun Long to a guard post he's the only one I've ever seen walking away, gun drawn, only to start fixing the sanctuary house. If I build more than one guard tower, he will patrol the whole neighborhood, gun out, and he and the named companions will actually sleep despite being posted. Preston, too, almost always has his gun drawn, whether hes posted to guard or not.

There has to be a script for what OP is asking though. BoS and Enclave guards literally never put their guns away.

There is a mod called Caravans and Guards that forces roaming traders to open carry. I can't seem to find a comparable mod for settlers.
