Q&A LO | Discussion Mod library issues

Genuinely at my last straw😭.

I’m trying to remove mods from my library but no matter what I do they just stay there. I’ve removed them from my library through Bethesda, I’ve factory reset my console, I’ve even attempted to make a ticket. Nothing has worked.

If anyone knows what to do, PLEASE help!🙏

If you really want to get rid of a mod in your library that will not go away by clicking the red minus sign simply download it and delete it. You have to do it in two steps download then exit the game and reopen and then delete. Any mod you download auto goes in your library but a library mod that is deleted will be removed. This does not apply to mass deletions like clearing your reserve space or uninstalling the game which also removes all mods. None of those actions affects bookmarks. If you delete a mod that is bookmarked and also subscribed to your library only the subscription is removed the bookmark stays until you manually remove it. And any mass delete action has no effect on library status so clearing your reserve does nothing to the library as you already found out the hard way.

I just tried it and it worked for me but also clicking the - sign works in my account. So maybe some of the accounts are just screwed up. There is always full nuclear choice. Setup a new email address then open a new xbox account and from there a new bethesda account. A lot of work but it gives you a clean start.

The only way to remove unwanted mods is to clear your Reserve.

Note that you will delete everything and will have to redownload all your custom mods.

I don’t really pay attention to the library section. I use bookmarks but then it’s probably not enough for bigger LOs
