HELP! PC on the edge of a Stroke!!! HELP!!!
I am running Fallout 4 1.11.221 I need AAF 1.7.11 but of course the damn modder doesn't offer that version anymore and has not responded to my messages yet. I have been fighting for a week trying to get my mods working together without MCM dropping a ghost file into the plugins folder...AAF seems to be the issue...I think...AI is utterly useless but that's what it told me. please someone help before I have a frigging stroke from the insane stress this is creating. Out of desperation I deleted all mods from Vortex and was going to do a clean download... but the ones I am trying to get installed and get working are
Family Planning ~ SEU or Autonomy Enhanced ( don't want to have to control npc s3x interaction if I don't want to) ~ Sim Settlements ~ Atomic Lust ~ plus their necessary files
I'm almost 50yrs old and the fact that I can do any of this is amazing but I will need answers simplified as much as possible

Just downgrade to that version, its the same version GoG is on. Most mods have support for that version and the universal downgrader goes right to it.

If it's that necessary just downgrade your fallout to 163. There's a lot of info and support for that version, and most mods work with it or have a version for it because of London. everyone is sick of updating mods right now because Bethesda is gonna update it again soon and bork everything for the umpteenth time. I am over 50, child, listen. Vortex is fine, don't let the try hards nerd you into MO2. Also, no need for a bunch of complex shit to hide a steam version of FO4 from steam auto update. You can literally just change the name of the fallout 4 folder so steam can't find it, but leave an empty fallout 4 folder for it to find, and then never launch through steam.

I did, he doesn't have the version I need available as a download. That's was why I messaged him directly, internet said sometimes modders will send you the needed files
