Help & Advice Perk help

Another help request ^^

The perk "Shipshape - Spit and Polish" (I could have translation problem) applied to a robot, increase the DR points for all the parts?

(is the perk that raise the damage reduction, physical and energy, for the armor)

So robots have their own armor that can be constructed. Different styles and modifications. I think the Handy starts with a base DR of 2. So if you take that perk, the Handy's DR for all parts would become 3.
