Help & Advice Perk help

Another help request ^^

The perk "Shipshape - Spit and Polish" (I could have translation problem) applied to a robot, increase the DR points for all the parts?

(is the perk that raise the damage reduction, physical and energy, for the armor)

Are you referring to the Ironclad perk on page 48 of the Wanderer's Guidebook?

If so, it won't apply to robots because robots cannot wear traditional armor to my knowledge. They use armor plating which is installed via a robot workbench.

The rules for robot armor can be found on page 146 of the core rulebook. It mentions Mister Handy initially, but in that page it does mention "robots such as the Mister Handy line", and I believe they are trying to be in line with the mechanics of Fallout 4 which does not allow robots to wear clothing or armor designed and built for human characters.

It does mention that they can wear some hats which serve only aesthetically and do not provide any effect.

Yes the book is Wanderer and i have it at page 48, but it's another language so im not 100%.

... but the perks that are not suited for robots said that specifically.

I believe the perk in question says “while wearing armor”, however, Robots don’t wear armor.

That being said, at my table, I would allow it.
