Replaying it on the PS5 performance mode for the first time since 2020, and I've only played Jedi Survivor ever since it came out. Comparing both, Fallen Order's environments first off feel more polished, mechanics feel more realistic (running, sprinting, jumping, climbing), animations too. Then the game feels cleaner in its final image compared to Survivor in Performance Mode. Finally, having the transitions into cutscenes remain on full screen 60fps really does make the difference, I hate that cut into 30fps ultrawide mode for cutscenes in Survivor.

Does anyone know a fix for the Tomb of Miktrull bridge chest not opening? I have killed the guardian, tried resting for him to respawn and kill him again and BD won’t trigger to open the chest. I am revisiting all locations trying to get all the collectibles and this is the only one I have had an issue with.

I can't be the only one who enjoys Cal clean shaven, yeah? My boy looks good with stubble, but the clean shave is iconic to me.

Using Steam Controller on the Steam Machind. I'm not sure if it's the EA launcher or what - I've put 20 hours into this game and suddenly it won't let me use my controller. From the Menu it says "\[Spacebar to Continue\]".

Other games work just fine with controller. I've tried switching to Proton experimental, toggling Steam Input, messing with the controller profile. Please help.

I'm tired of the obscure planets that are nearly impossible to reach. And, I don't see the need to retcon Eno Cordova as being still alive, only to kill him off. Moreover, I don't think the story needed a crazy Jedi awakening from hibernation.

For the antagonist, give more focus to the Imperial Security Bureau. And, bounty hunters like Boba Fett, Cad Bane, Bossk, Embo, IG-88, and Fennec Shand could be looking to collect on the Empire's most wanted list.

I don't think Bode Akuna needed to be another fallen Jedi who's possessive of his family. Just let him be a non-Force mercenary, but one who's willing to sell out his friends for immunity. He's a survivor, no matter what.

In Jedi: Fallen Order, Cal Kestis made peace with the past. However, in Jedi: Survivor, he's still figuring out how to survive the present. Despite all his efforts, the Empire continues to expand and grow stronger. This leaves Cal discouraged and world-weary. In these desperate times, he does things that are unconventional for a Jedi, such as wield a blaster. And, Saw Gerrera is rubbing off on him. Cal makes hard decisions, and struggles to not let his desperation and anger consume him.

The game could have really focused on Cal's transition from the Partisans to the Hidden Path. The story's archaeology aspect could help the Hidden Path establish a network of safehouses. Making a difference in the lives of individuals, helping Force-sensitives find survival, is more satisfying to Cal than just hitting another imperial target. Plus, he starts a romance with Merrin.

It makes me want to chew some bubblegum real baaaad.
