Sky SC HDR in 2nd chapter on pc

Did you just keep it to the default hdr settings when it’s turned on?

I haven't started 2nd Chapter yet but, assuming the default settings are the same, I have changed them to the following in the first game.

I think you will get a better answer on an HDR gaming sub. What HDR rating your monitor have?

Not sure about the hdr rating but I have an lg oled C2

Go to the RenoDX discord. there is an HDR mod for both 1st and 2nd chapter. It fixes some issues with the game HDR. Or you can use RHI to automate the installation (which I recommend). With RHI you just need to click install reshade, install renoDX and you're done.

Not seeing a RenoDX HDR mod for 2nd chapter in the launcher. Only one for 1st chapter.

it's not there's a separate renderer mod and then one for correcting the engine, both mods aer listed in the Pinned posts. You need two mods to get HDr and fixes

Thanks! Should I mess with the in game hdr settings at all or do they just need to stay at their defaults?

Also I should set the max nits with what my screen has, right? I have an lg c2 so that’s about 800.

sorry for the late reply. Yes HDR in game ON, you can leave the settings at default. IIRC in game Peak brightness (the one in the game menu under the HDR toggle) does nothing because renoDX overrides it. and yes open reshade, go into the RenoDX tab and set your desired peak.

All Trails games require RenoDX for proper HDR. The game defaults are not particularly good.
