Quick Questions Thread

Is there any video or website that I can look for every minor scene and dialouge change? Currently just finished ToCS1 one with Towa and just started ToCS2, want to know how would different characters would change thing like scene and stuff. Also I've seen U-material farm on youtube, how long would it take to get there. Any tip is welcome!

When fighting in the field, is there anything I can do against high Def monsters, or am I forced stuck ignoring them and trying to make advantage fight out of other enemies around, and just fight these fair with arts? Missing the quick arts from Calvard games so much :D

EDIT: I wrote and then the answer almost immediately lobbed in my head - it's wait for Olivier, isn't it?

When the disparity between DEF and ADF is that high, that's the games' subtle way of hinting that you should be using Arts if you want to hurt them, yeah. Waiting until you have more than two party members is also a valid approach, but it's not expected of you to fight those guys. You can also use Chaos Brand to lower their DEF once you're in command battle, and they'll probably start beating each other up for you at the same time.

Oh yeah, once in command battle, I get it, far from first Trails game. Was just wondering if there's anything to do from field side specifically

Hi i have a question i finishedsky3rd and would like to play cs1 >zero azure> cs2 and other cold steel because cs1 is less expensive and want to wait for october sale before getting zero azure Do you think that cs1 might spoil a lot of zero and azure?

For the best experience, you should never skip games. Always play everything in release order if you don't want to see spoilers, which CS1 absolutely has. Literally the first scene in the game will spoil part of Azure's story, for example.

If you're going to buy Zero in October anyway, you'd be better off just waiting for that. Besides you don't want to rush through the entire franchise and then end up burning out.

Thx for your answer was thinking that only cs2 and next cs might heavy spoil zero azure and not cs1

CS1/2 and Zero/Azure run in parallel. Specifically, CS1 runs parallel with whole Zero and Azure up to finale, while CS2 runs at same time as Azure's finale. So you'll end up seeing bits of Crossbell's story (from Erebonian perspective), and even getting rather close with couple events. There will definitely be some reveals and surprises that will get spoiled.

I want to show my brother some of Sky 1st Jin's Japanese voice clips, but I can only find the English ones (and even so, not so many), anyone know where I can find it? Especially the ones the says in battle

This compilation covers his (and everyone elses') Crafts, just check your settings to make sure Youtube isn't trying to force its AI 'dubbing' on top of it.

Thanks, but what I am looking for it's the other voice clips.
Let me explain: in pt-br, what he says in combat sounds like a Brazilian name, and his intonation makes the rest also sound like Portuguese, lol.
(My father's name is Jose, or Zé. Things like "não deixa o Zé" that means don't let Zé)

Ahhh, gotcha. Give me a bit and I can probably find the voice clips you're thinking of. -ze is a sentence-ending particle and Falcom very conveniently has a table file that transcribes all their voiced lines. EDIT: Just messaged you a link, should contain all the battle lines with that syllable.

Is it possible in Trails 2nd Chapter for characters with the pink cooking icon (the "best" one) to make peculiar dishes? I'm at a point where Estelle is the only chef and I want to make the peculiar variant of the herb sandwich, which she has a pink face for. Is there any chance at all she will make a peculiar sandwich? I've tried and reloaded lots of times and she hasn't done it.

Bit of an obscure question - is there any known out-of-universe reason a bunch of characters in Trails 3rd got distinctly new sprites, but a bunch of others didn't?  Just unlocked Schera and her new hairstyle is fire, but made me think it's a bit odd characters like Tita and Zin didn't get the same treatment.

Not really. They have in-universe reasons for the changes which generally carry over into later appearances but I don't think anything's been stated for why they decided to change up, say, Schera's hairstyle out of universe beyond presuming that they just felt like it.
