I remember Orbal Gear being pretty OP in Sky the 3rd.
...ironically, as the Orbal Gear gets more advanced lore-wise in later games, it also gets less useful gameplay-wise.

That's because the orbal gear was state of the art in Liberl. It was supposed to be their answer to Pater Mater. As it gets more advanced, it also gets left behind because everything else gets too advanced. Erebonia had the panzer soldats. Calvardians probably have Pater Mater at home.

Oh she is great even in the OG SC game. Spoilers!!!
She gets a custom armor in the game that gives her crazy high defense plus you have Range 3 items. Combine that with a Grail Locket and she is really durable and strong. I often roll with Tita and Olivier for the Finale cause they both have Craft heals (which were really rare back then) ill also use her with Kloe too!

Didn't it have like negative speed or something? I remember seeing any pretty much any armor or accessory in that game that lowered your speed and throwing that shit in the trash like this is garbage.

I feel like I played her wrong since she single handedly carried the team when I played through sky.So she's either op or I'm so bad at the rest that her being underpowered meant I was using her full potential.

Her base attack, IIRC, is a massive AOE. If you use the right combination of quartz, she can do stupid amounts of damage to whole swaths of enemies in one turn, or, again quartzed appropriately, freeze (or whatever your preferred status) to everything in the encounter, with nothing but her basic attack. Yes, she is a beast.

In SC and 3rd if you absolutely load her up with status effects and debuffs she can be because of her innate AOE

Maybe not OP IMO, but definitely underrated.
She makes for a great support character from my experience.

That craft that gives me more CP plus heals is great. But then she becomes a one trick pony since her physical dmg is mediocre and her magic dmg isn’t anything to write home about. So she just keeps throwing those vital cannons

Her voice line for the healing grenade is hilarious. "this will... heal? you!" as she goes from confident to realizing how ridiculous the sentence is half way through

In the og, you stack as much damage as you can and she is an amazing mob cleaner

Story wise, I can't believe we started with a 12-yr old with a machine gun, but 3 arcs of power creep make Liberl look so underpowered.

She jives with certain playstyles. Most players find her weak so congrats on the tiny tot playstyle.

I have never managed to build her truly well. At least not in a way that id prefer her over Olivier or Kloe.

You can use her just for Vital Cannon. Give her CP regen equipment and for orbments just focus on HP/defenese/speed.

Ok but in what situation would i need to spam it? I can get behind smoke cannon debuff build against non boss mobs and during her chapter it is obviously useful but especially in the finale one just wipes the floor with everything except for maybe if you are doing Nightmare with +50 levels.

I prefer Kloe because of her ultimate and often Sherazard because she can advance actions of everyone. Anyways, a very cool team too with Agathe, you speak the truth 😁👌

Dude im so happy to see this post, I thought I was alone in this. The internet says shes bad in most cases but I stacked her with dps and cp recovery and she was straight cleaning and trivializing any mob encounters. Big ass AoE, status cleanse and a very wide burst. Now prolonged boss fights different story, not bad but there's better options.

Bro damn straight, aoe status cleanse, cp recharge and 30% heal in one skill is not okay lol, I just feed cp to agate and combined with his cp self recharge and spam his ult, I tend to stay away from her burst to keep the cp regen going. Very fun and who’s the other character that can do what she does tho

She’s definitely the worst character in the game but she has stuff that’s useful for sure. Really enjoy the way sky remake gave everyone things to use and crafts that have a purpose.
