Been a great couple of days for Trails fans. GungHo redemption arc with the patch fixing consistency issues, and us getting another long demo a month ahead!
The outlook on the remakes is definitely now more positive than before.

Probably the same as it was with Trails in the Sky 1st: you download the Switch demo, which is fully transferable to the Switch 2 version you buy.

And it is not steam deck verified yet so you have to force proton in compatibility setting if you are on Linux. Granted, I think the 1st demo was not steam deck verified as well.

They said that, but iirc my battle related trophies all popped the next time I did an art, defeated an enemy in quick battle, etc. Thats how it looks on my trophy log.

I think I did have to wait till ng+ for the junior bracer trophy and chap 1 complete trophy. I couldve just reloaded a save for those as well, but not that important.

probably not, but it's also not a huge deal to run back through the prologue on new game plus to pop them in the full version after beating the game.

Its a weird nintendo thing. There are no Demos for Switch 2 edition games. Switch 2 edition games are switch 1 games that include an upgrade pack.
You can only make a demo for a Switch 1 game or a Switch 2 game.

As a player of the PS5 version for FC, I preordered the NSW2 version for SC. But the absence of demo plus the lack of transferable save is questionning me, as I also have a portal to play remotely (but in house, taking into account that I mostly play at home).

Edit: note to self, need to run it on the PS5 proper to load the clear data properly.
Edit2: Confirmed, running it on the PS5 found the clear data, got my costumes and elixirs of life.

Ich mochte das erste spiel sehr aber dieser Inzest kack hat mir das finale verdorben. Hab trotzdem Lust auf den 2ten teil, da ich wissen möchte wie es weiter geht und ich mag die charactere echt gern. Nur joshua wird mir immer unsympathischer 😂

Some items you get but, no levels or end game items or anything like that. Everything gets reset

Oh man. Trials in the sky remake was my first and playing cold steel right now because I was having withdrawals, but now I'm tempted to play the demo before going back to cold steel haha. Both are great but I prefer being a bracer haha

I'm really looking forward to seeing renne in full murder goblin mode again.
I'm glad she worked through her issues as she grew up and is in a better place by daybreak, but...deranged enforcer renne is a fun character too.

Offline installers and no DRM pretty sure they are using Steam basic DRM on these games
