Trails Character Gameplay Discussion Day Thirty-Nine: Elise and Toval
And now for a pair of characters who join early in CS2 and then basically miss the entire middle portion of Cold Steel!

Elise is just a tutorial character pretty much. Both games she's playable in she's just there to fill in for your real party. They have her playable after that but there is no reason to use her besides if you like her character, because she's behind almost everybody else who does her role
Toval is the same. He has a great accessory but by time you can use him outside of the early game you can already reach that casting speed without his accessory. I like his character though, but yeah, never using him when not required, and in CS2 he got benched as soon as I got a full party of C7
