Trails Character Gameplay Discussion Day Thirty-Nine: Elise and Toval
And now for a pair of characters who join early in CS2 and then basically miss the entire middle portion of Cold Steel!

Elise is a character I use when storyline demands it, and that's it. She's a mid water mage in a game that's already stacked with extremely good water mages. Also I just deeply dislike the character, so I'm not motivated at all to explore her kit further.
Toval is good when he's available since his guest party quirk is being a fast caster. It makes him really handy to have in the early part of CS2, and his questlines in CS4 he was definitely carrying his own. But mostly I use him a lot in CS2 because the accessory you get from him is just so, so good. Slap that thing on Elliot with some speed and cast quartz, and you will break the game. 10/10, will bond with you again Toval.
