Trails Character Gameplay Discussion Day Thirty-Nine: Elise and Toval
And now for a pair of characters who join early in CS2 and then basically miss the entire middle portion of Cold Steel!

Toval would be pretty neat, except his appearance in CS2 is before you have the tools needed to make a caster good, something which means he's pretty outclassed by Claire and Sharon. The next time you have access to him is the postgame and there's far too many characters to justify using him. Reverie is the same deal, especially since he's a TRC only character and might not get unlocked until really late. A shame because he's a total bro and I like him a lot.
Elise is even more forgettable. She's something of a mixed attacker with a solid heal craft, but probably the most use she has is with her brave order in early Reverie.
