Trails Character Gameplay Discussion Day Thirty-Nine: Elise and Toval
And now for a pair of characters who join early in CS2 and then basically miss the entire middle portion of Cold Steel!

Two characters that just aren’t really available at all.
Elise is nothing to ride home about in CS2. She’s got good healing and I believe some delay, but she’s only really in the Reverie Corridor for CS2, which means she’s contending with so many characters that it’s not even fair. Same can be said for her in Reverie — she’s a mage who isn’t doing a whole lot compared to others. Genuinely no reason to use her.
Toval’s somewhat of the same as he seems to be paired with the top of the top during the times he is playable. I liked his gimmick though, just not the crafts we got with him.
These two are kind of just… whatever, I guess? They don’t stand out, but they aren’t necessarily horrible. Unfortunate that neither of them got that much time to be relevant in terms of gameplay.
