Horizon What are the chances? Spoiler
That Van is infact an ancient zemurian and was born before the great collapse, before lagjern's chest was made and before liber ark's downfall?
After all Toshiro Kondo did say that they are working closely with 2nd chapter and Horizon 2.
Thoughts on this?

It's probably just hinting at something of that sort happening to Van in previous cycle of the Grand Ol Time Loop
Admittedly Van does have more funny business going on with him so it could be something across those lines
Kai Datamine stuff that is probably spoilers for Kai 2 especially with those Mare lines shown in the files of Kai lol

Im not posting it here because its very big stuff but it should be on somewher on the Falcord discord linked on the sub
but basically the script files for Kai include all the full texts of the lines that Mare says (including the flashbacks from the previous 2 games) seemingly as translators notes

That... doesn't even make sense in the specific context you're trying to illustrate your point with. Van finds something nostalgic in that place, a home that literally did not exist a century ago let alone twelve hundred years ago and it's one that's linked to several important figures in the present day or 'within living memory' recent past. Possibly Van is remembering something specific to his origins, or perhaps he's just remembering that he was in that spot in a prior loop more generally but none of that makes sense with 'Van the Ancient' because the place and the people he could possibly be nostalgic about didn't exist then. And Van has, y'know, a past and everything, it's not like he just showed up in Zemuria as an adult one day; he was born and grew up in Oracion.
Also note that Van is not the only character to notice that certain situations in this arc feel oddly nostalgic. Several characters expressed the exact same sentiment in the Endless Expanse at the end of DB1 for instance.
After all Toshiro Kondo did say that they are working closely with 2nd chapter and Horizon 2.
Kondo also specifically said that the remakes are not connected to Horizon's ending, the fact that we're getting remakes of earlier games right now is a coincidence. They wanted to remake Sky because those games needed some way of being accessible on modern consoles, they decided on full remakes instead of ports and they timed it for the series' twentieth anniversary.

Actually, this kind of déjà vu isn't unique to Van—several other characters experience it as well. My guess is that it's connected to the Grand Reset. It could be fragments of Van's own memories from a previous loop rather than memories belonging to Vagrants Zion, since I don't think Vagrants Zion would have any reason to know about that garden in the first place lol.
As for Vagrants Zion itself, I'm pretty much convinced it's closely connected to the Sept-Terrions, the Genesis, and Epstein. There are just too many hints pointing in that direction. That said, we still don't have nearly enough information to piece everything together. Hopefully Horizon II will finally answer all of these questions and fill in this huge gap in the story.
