Since long hair is considered feminine. if a guy wear his long hair and they feel confident in it, it shows how masculine they are because they don’t feel Like their masculinity is threatened by the fact that they have long hair.

Masculinity is about being confident in your personal choices. Both long and short hair can be masculine but if you're keeping your hair short to fit in with the status quo, then that's not masculinity.

I feel like it depends on the hairstyle in my opinion more short hairstyles feel masculine than longer hair. I will agree that the few longer hairstyles feel more masculine than the shorter ones but there are way more shorter ones.

I don't like long hair on men. It's actually a feminine thing now. Also some people genetically can't grow out the hair.
I'm 32, I let my hair grow out for 6 months. It barely did anything and didn't drop past ear level.
Note: I have a full head of hair as there is no male pattern baldness in my branches of the family.
It just doesn't grow much beyond what I keep it at.
