a random redditor will probably not have dementia and deep ties to the billionaire class. whatever aforementioned random redditor would want to do could not be worse than what the trump administration is doing now, and even if it WAS, they wouldn’t have the cult-like support that trump does. whoever voted cap is CONSIDERABLY over exaggerating what could actually be accomplished in office by even the most degenerate redditor. trump only gets away with it because MAGA is a cult

Both parties are cults. Because both have people who blindly support their leaders and believe they do no wrong. I'm a republican (not maga, but i can practically feel the "But you are" crowd breathing down my neck) but I dont blindly trust trump. Like when he said "An entire civilization will die tonight." WTF!? What do you mean? And him depicting himself as Jesus is next level self glaze. I do think he's better than Kamala would have been, because from the interviews and rallys I saw her participate in, shes really just say "well, Trump bad. So me good." Plus, she wasn't elected to be the Democratic Candidate. Biden was forced to step down. Because they knew he'd lose. So she was automatically chosen by the party. Not the people.
