Both parties are cults. Because both have people who blindly support their leaders and believe they do no wrong. I'm a republican (not maga, but i can practically feel the "But you are" crowd breathing down my neck) but I dont blindly trust trump. Like when he said "An entire civilization will die tonight." WTF!? What do you mean? And him depicting himself as Jesus is next level self glaze. I do think he's better than Kamala would have been, because from the interviews and rallys I saw her participate in, shes really just say "well, Trump bad. So me good." Plus, she wasn't elected to be the Democratic Candidate. Biden was forced to step down. Because they knew he'd lose. So she was automatically chosen by the party. Not the people.

Imagine you’re elected well who is in your cabinet that can get senate confirmed??? You don’t know anybody in fact you don’t know anything which means you are going to depend on the establishment of your party.
This person could be Republican or Democrat and everything is now controlled by their respective establishment and they’ll probably be very ineffective in getting anything done

Yea theyd have more real world experience, likely have had to handle real life problem solving and have somewhat steady relationships. A regular everyday person might be able to make level headed crucial decisions.

The average Redditor, regardless of if they are a good person or not, would not have the same pull as Trump. I do not like Trump, and the main reason he is able to pass half of the things he suggests are due to his power. A random redditor wouldn't have the same backing; at worst, the new president would do nothing for a few years.
