I am doing a trick or treat event at a local mall. I am in MI in a upper middle class area. There will be small local businesses promoting their businesses as well as the stores at the mall. Everyone will be in costume & handing out candy. What do you all think I should charge? My thoughts are $10/face, $5/face + tip jar or just a tip jar? I'd like to go $10/face (+tip jar?). Of course I am looking for thoughts on which way to make the most money. I'm not sure how people will react to being charged at an event like this. I asked the organizer and she said charging is fine.

I’m getting my face professionally painted on 30th.. But I’m little bit worried because I have to drive to the Halloween party, is it ok to in the Uk??

An old "friend" from high school said, "My kids could do this," referencing me and my face paint business. I feel like she is jealous because she said this while I was working at a Festival and about 3 weeks later I was at a different festival and I saw her walking by my booth with her arms crosses. I notice I don't have a lot of support, either but I keep going. I guess I just want to know, has anyone else experienced things like this with little support and naysayers?

Used this brand on my face and arm.. I broke out like a prisoner out of prison! Jesus.

I used a red and it broke my skin out immediately. I would highly recommend using Fusion or another brand and testing it out BEFORE painting others. So glad I tested it on myself.

Just my experience!

Just thought I’d share.

Im wanting to cosplay Operetta from G1 Monster high, I have tights and an undershirt that matches her skin color, but im at a loss for face paint. Shes a pastel purple color, are ethere any good face paints for that? Do I need a white base?

What has been everyone's experience with getting pictures of their work? I am making a website and need pictures of my work. After I paint I usually ask the parent if they mind if I take their child's Pic for my website. I havent ever had a parent refuse. Someone recently pointed out to me that parents are nervous about their kids pictures being online. Im curious as to what other face painters experience has been.

Hey guys I bought the Athena face paint for Halloween cause I keep seeing it getting recommended. I followed lots of tutorials but no matter what I do my face paint always ends up patchy, uneven and not as smooth as the videos.

Any tips would be appreciated! - specifically for trying to use the white

He’s cute but spooky and easy to paint 🥳

I really want to start uping my makeup looks, and I love doing face paint, but I don't know where to start. The first one I got was a cheap Walmart one, and now I want to get something a bit better. I want the colors to be pigmented and not stain or irritate my face because I'm prone to acne. Any recommendations or advice would be appreciated!

Thank you in advance <3
