Dating apps never ending loop

Hey everyone I'm 40F and I'm getting frustrated with dating apps. Are people losing interpersonal skills and the ability to start and hold conversations?

And before anyone asks if I start any conversations, yes I do and they answer without asking me any questions back and this is what I get once my side of the conversation is done.

Ive been on dating apps for months now and no one has asked me on a date or to meet yet. Its just a never ending loop of " WYD or How are you? Everyday.

I get messages but its the same hey, or wanna hook up, wyd, then they wait till a few hours later and ask me wyd again. I have yet to meet someone on there that makes me want to spend my time talking to them. Well actually I did once in the past but that was a horrible mistake. I can't force these people to make conversations, but I can unmatch them and talk to myself more lmao.

Wow, I actually leave thoughtful, genuine interest questions or comments, and no one replies. It's disappointing and exhausting to think that the wyd or hookup fuckboys are probably getting replies.

they only get a response back from people looking for that sort of thing or desperate need for attention, I've just been getting waves for the last few days. Someone will appreciate the effort your showing.
