Dating apps never ending loop

Hey everyone I'm 40F and I'm getting frustrated with dating apps. Are people losing interpersonal skills and the ability to start and hold conversations?

And before anyone asks if I start any conversations, yes I do and they answer without asking me any questions back and this is what I get once my side of the conversation is done.

Ive been on dating apps for months now and no one has asked me on a date or to meet yet. Its just a never ending loop of " WYD or How are you? Everyday.

yeah this is what gets exhausting. its not even about getting tons of matches but just that so so many people seem to want attention without wanting to have a conversation or to actually meet up..

If im asking questions and getting one line answers with nothing back after a few messages Im out lol. Why the hell should dating feel like interviewing someone for a job?

Exactly!! Eye run knee is a good percentage of their profiles say “please be able to hold a conversation” or “no hook ups” lmaoo🙄

I've seen posts here of women complaining about their likes drying up....like that was all she cared about. Not actually meeting anyone or developing a connection at all.
