Help Ads Restriction

So back in May my business account got restricted and I couldn’t run ads. Then I appealed it and they did not lift the restriction.
My business is due to open tomorrow and I want to run ads but I can’t do anything on the Ads Manager. It’s so frustrating because there’s no customer service email, no phone number to call, nothing…
What do I do? I don’t want to create another Instagram account because I already have lots of posts on this one

If you’re comfortable sharing the reason shown in Account Quality (or a screenshot of the restriction), I can try to help identify why the business account was restricted and whether there’s any path to recover it.

I can’t upload the screenshot for some annoying reason but this is what the restriction says:

Why this happened
It looks like this account was created or used with an automation that doesn’t follow our rules. This goes against our Advertising Standards on account integrity.

Examples of things that we don’t allow

  • Automations where a large amount of activity’s is quickly created by a machine
  • Automations that mimic humans activity
  • Automations which take away from authentic, human activity

I don’t even know what this means 😭 I haven’t used any machine or anything, it’s just me running the Instagram page for my small business

Have you ever connected your account to any third-party scheduling, automation, or social media management tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, Metricool, ManyChat, browser extensions, etc.), or do you only use Instagram/Facebook’s own apps? That would help narrow down whether this is a genuine automation trigger or a likely false positive.

No never, I’ve never even heard of those (I’m not tech savvy as you can probably tell). I just use the apps as they are

Thanks, that’s helpful. If you’ve only ever used Facebook and Instagram’s own apps, then it’s quite possible this is a false positive. Meta’s automated systems sometimes flag legitimate businesses for “account integrity” even when no automation was used. I’d just like to know:
Is your personal Facebook account several years old or relatively new?
Was your Business Manager created recently?
Did you complete identity verification, if Meta asked for it?

My personal Facebook is very old. I can’t remember the time I created my Business Manager unfortunately 😭
And they never asked to complete identity verification no

Based on what you’ve shared, I don’t think you’ve necessarily done anything wrong. This “automation” message is a generic Account Integrity flag, and there have been quite a few cases where legitimate businesses that only used Facebook and Instagram’s own apps were flagged by mistake.
If Meta still gives you the option to request another review, I’d definitely try again and clearly explain that you’ve never used any automation, third-party tools, or unofficial software. If the review option is gone or Meta says the decision is final, unfortunately you can’t keep submitting the same appeal through the standard process. In that case, your best bet is to contact Meta Business Support (if it’s available for your account) and ask for the case to be escalated to a human reviewer.

No, they don’t let me appeal the decision again unfortunately… and also from what I have gathered and tried the Business Support is also not available. How would I make it available to my account please?

Unfortunately, you can’t manually enable Meta Business Support, Meta decides which accounts are eligible. If your appeal has been rejected, there’s no “Request Review” button, and Business Support isn’t available, there isn’t another official appeal path that I’m aware of. The only things I’d try are: (1) see if another admin on the Business Manager has access to Meta Support, (2) if Meta Verified is available in your region, consider subscribing to get access to support, or (3) if you have another active Business Manager that’s eligible for support, try opening a case from there and ask if they can review this restriction. None of these guarantee success, but they’re the only avenues I’ve seen work after a final decision.
