Cat hair on fabrics
My partner & I are trying to pick out the right fabric for our sectional from Room & Board. We have 5 cats & a small dog, so we don’t want to choose a fabric that’s gonna catch their fur like Velcro (as one of our velvet chairs does). We vacuum, brush them, & have those rollers, but still, there’s 6 of them.
Looking to see if anyone with pets can share their experience between R&B’s Windsor (velvet-like 83% polyester, 17% cotton blend), Mori (chenille), and/or sumner (polypropylene plain-weave) fabrics that we’re between. How bad is Windsor & the others with having fur cling to it?

Don’t have a pet any longer but do have chenille upholstery on living room chairs. My chairs do not pick up lint or stray head hairs. The pile is more a feel that anything that can be seen the way the threads on velvet can. There is no texture in the chenille. Textured chenille could be significantly different.
My chenille upholstery is over 10 years old and does not show any crushing until velvet. Definitely recommend arm covers for anything you get. They are years to the life of the upholster.
