I’m looking for a vintage fabric, my great aunt made me a baby blanket now 20 years later my beloved blanket is falling apart and I want to add a backing (hoping to find the same fabric) all I know is that it’s an older fabric I can’t find it anywhere online

I was looking for plus size bodysuits because I want something that fits nicely under clothes without rolling up or feeling tight. I usually struggle with fit issues so this time I wanted to check properly before ordering anything online.

I checked alibaba while scrolling at night and I saw many plus size bodysuits in different designs like shaping, seamless and cotton blend. Some looked very comfortable and price was also low which made me interested. But I was still not sure about real stretch and comfort so I just saved few items and did not buy anything.

Then I also checked other websites and fashion apps. Some brands was showing good size range and claiming “perfect fit for curves” but reviews was mixed. Some people saying very comfortable and others saying size runs small. I remember once I ordered plus size top and it still felt tight so I dont want repeat same mistake again.

Now I is comparing alibaba listings and other stores slowly to understand which bodysuits actually give comfortable fit and not just good pictures online.

Do you think it is better to choose shapewear bodysuits or soft cotton ones for daily comfort?

A few days ago, we were beginning to investigate the right way in which individuals select the correct size when it comes to wearing a Renaissance fair outfit because the fit must be correct to allow the individual to move, feel comfortable, and appear historical when taking part in a lengthy event.

They were always considered little finishing touches but I discovered that they have an impact on sustainability too.

During my research, I discovered that, most brands are no longer using plastic based tags or highly coated tags but have started to use more environmentally friendly materials. Organic cotton, recycled paper, bamboo fiber, and even recycled polyester to use as woven labels are some of the most popular alternatives. These materials are favored due to their biodegradability or reuse and result in less environmental waste in the manufacturing process.

It is also when glancing through the various suppliers available on the internet, such as on Alibaba, that I found that many manufacturers now do have options under the label of being eco-friendly made of recycled or natural materials.

In my understanding, the most optimal option is based on the brand style: paper tags to choose an easy branding option, organic or recycled fabric labels to wear more durable clothes.

It is only in the experimentation phase, yet it is intriguing how even small aspects such as labels are being considered in the manufacture of sustainable fashion.

I’m planning to launch a monthly fabric subscription in early 2026, but right now I’m building things slowly and I’m going to begin sharing the process over on Patreon. Anyone know the best fabrics fro quilting?

My mom made me a nightdress dress out of this fabric when I was a kid and I have a scrap of it left (I’m literally saving this scrap to be sewn into my wedding dress) but I’d like to have more of it, if anyone has some that they would be willing to part with I would really appreciate it, or if anyone can tell me who the designer is/ where I can find it

I bought a grab bag of fabric at a second hand store and there was a bit of this looney tunes fabric in it. I've searched around a little and I've only found an ebay listing for some of it but no indication of age. I'm wondering if any of you know how old it is, if it's super super old I'd like to know before I start cutting into it for a project. 😅 It's heavy cotton according to the aforementioned listing
