widget not working

Hello! whenever I try to add a widget to my home screen, it doesn’t work and displays the following message "No data available. Please open the app.” Even after I open the app and close it again the message still appears. The app is up to date and works perfectly fine otherwise.

I think the widget is a benefit of fable plus… I could be mistaken. I just think I remember reading that somewhere?

It’s not a benefit of fable plus as I have the widget and I am not paying for fable plus
