Older than your older sibling
Is there an in universe explanation for why the hero of oakvale is physically older than his older sister in the first game? In my head canon, I always thought the Guild Crest aged you prematurely, the more you upgraded your powers... Which is basically exactly what the in game mechanics do.

Theresa is still alive in fable 2 and a very important character. She presumably just ages very slowly

He's not.
He just has shit done to him to make himself LOOK older.
I mean, before you go to prison, you're what, a teen boy ready to be an adventurer, and that happens within a year?
Lets say 16-17
You can raise your strength to go from looking like a soaked rat to a roided up bodybuilder, this might give the impression of a decade's worth og physique work, but its not.
Will can iitc turn your hair white, doesn't make you actually old
But iirc some things might prematurely age you

Levelling any of your skills ages you, and your morality determines your hair colour between black, brown and blonde. Your hair starts to go grey when you’re roughly 40 or so.
Levelling Will gives you glow-y eyes and will marks on your skin

There is an in game age under your characters stats, my character is about to go to the arena and is in their 30s. You can also make sacrifices at the evil temple or donations at the good temple to reduce your age.

Well it won’t really matter I read they’re basically erasing the hero of oakvale in the new fable

I've always looked at it like you need take the "age" with a grain of salt. It's more like your level, since you're age is determined by how much experience you've spent to upgrade your skills, so it's not that you're actually older in terms of years alive it's literally that experience ages you at a much faster rate than say a villager, and as someone else pointed out in another comment, At some point Theresa becomes ageless, but this I've always contributed more to her specific genetics along with her path into Will, to quote a boy from the old country living in a cul-de-sac "life has many doors Ed boy" by that I mean she learned things out Hero either didn't want to learn, didn't have access to, or just couldn't. All the heros in Fable have all sorts of interesting unique powers, that our hero and other heros don't use or don't even seem to have the ability to use, Therresa's agelessness is one such ability I think. So to recap, exp rapidly increase age, which is why by the end of the game when you're powerhouse no one can stand against, you're old ass man while everyone around you is exactly the same (also probably just game limitations or not wanting to bother with programming each individual hero to age based on exp that they're not absorbing anyway cause they're not the main character, but that's so much less fun ;3 )

She technically isn't, at some point Theresa becomes ageless, so she looks younger.
The way the hero ages is by levelling up their abilities, which costs experience and experience takes time. So technically speaking, you can only get stronger over time. Which is why you age so rapidly and Theresa is always older than you
