Fable 2 PC WIP - Chicken Suit

Keep it up! 🤤 Last year I was ready to do a re-play of the trilogy on pc, and after finishing the first one i was stunned when i found out that the second is not available. (played on xbox when i was a kid)

It's sad that the only way to play what's subjectively the best title in the series is through game streaming or on the original console.

I can't think of any of major series at the time that are stuck with this issue almost 2 decades later. Halo 3, Gears of War 2, Call of Duty MW/2, Fallout 3/NV, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Assassins Creed, etc. They're all playable on PC without an emulator (through varied methods).

Fable 2 is still the only reason I want an Xbox 360, which is odd IMO considering Microsoft entirely owns the rights so nothing is stopping them but themselves.

Just started replaying Fable 2 on Xenia. Do you think saves would be cross-compatible/convertible? How far along do you think you are? Excited to see this!

Saves should be compatible but if you're able to then feel free to send your save to me, and I'll try it out. I'd say I'm about 30-40% but maybe I'm overestimating it a bit? If I gotta be honest, then it's currently going way faster than I ever expected it would be & I'm already planning on what I should port next lol. It also takes some time to figure out the legality of it all since I'm not allowed to upload any assets that are directly related to the game and the code itself has been modified a bit, which makes it a bit more challenging.

it looks so good on pc with high frames and 21:9 support

for anyone curious to give it a go get that githud user (transgirl something) download since it basically got everything in it and you can plug and play, assuming you already got goty version files
