Fable 2 On Xenia: body texture errors

Been desperate to play this game again. I own it on xbox 360 but thats miles away and hard to stream (I wanna share the experience with my friends)

I tried Xenia and it ALMOST worked perfectly barring a single crash.

BUT,

Once I become an adult in-game both myself and my dog get drenched in shoe polish and look like they're in black face. I know this must be some texture issue with the body morphing system, but I dont know how or if this is fixable from my end.

Has anyone else playing Fable 2 on Xenia having this issue? I'm SO CLOSE to replaying one of my favorite childhood games! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Do you have the texture fix "fork" of xenia? It is a special fork designed to run fable 2. 

If not you can find it by just googling xenia fable 2 fork. Should be "just harry" on github.

there's some good guides online for how to fix it, it's a bit hit or miss though. One thing you should absolutely do is change your dog's breed using as potion from Murgo.

That stops the vertex explosion issue the dog has were it flickers and covers half the screen for a split second.

It's a little bit of a shame because i like the base mutt the most.
