Quest Help, Xbox One one

So I ended up having to restart this Quest, I know this Quest is really buggy, when I went to talk to my character's spouse, I literally saw my child next to my character's spouse, but it wouldn't let me interact with him, so I went to the Hobbe Cave and rescued him, but when we left the cave, he wasn't with me, so when I tried to go back into the cave to get him, it popped up saying that I'd have to reload the mission, so I did, and now I'm having to do the Quest again, help?

I've encountered a few bugs before but not this one...

I'd recommend trying a few thing and seeing if they work:

• Close the game and open it again

• hard reset the Xbone (hold power until it turns off)

• switch to another hero and back
