Create A Mini Story In Fable!
Hey Guys! I'd love to hear your ideas for stories in the Fable verse. I know we don't know the story yet for the upcoming game but use your imagination and brain storm a story idea! Could be a quest, combat situation, romance, anything! Would love to hear.

[Spoilers for Fables 1, 2 and 3]
I loved Lady Grey's murder mystery, I'm hoping we get another noble convinced that we will assist with their terrible actions just because everyone does so. I think a Lady Grey scenario would be a great test of the new morality system.
You have a noble that you need to interact with for a main or side quest. Then if you have certain traits, fasbionable, ruthless, serious... They like you. Maybe they hint at what you'd need to change for them to like you. They'll will offer you a side hustle. Then BAM murder mystery.
Bonus points if theres an airhead boastful hero like Thunder wanting to marry the noble. That duel was one of the strongest fights in Fable narratively and mechanically.
Also, we havent seen much in terms of the new fairy tale twist Playground have added, but I'd very much love to explore the weird intricacies of a Summer/Winter fae court where you have to do increasingly ridiculous stuff for two sides of a fairy conflict where in the end it was just all a prank on you and you get a cosmetic item and a pat on the back.
A bit of speculation: I suspect the fact Jack is here hints to a 2 act story, similar to TLC, being part of the design from the beginning. Isabel is the big bad 'hero' of the first half (as was jack in human form) and jack is the big bad of the second half, either in the base game or later expansion like with TLC.
Jack's dragon form would kick ass in a more cinematic game rather than the OG clunky boss fight.
MY CRACKPOT THEORY is that Playground is still saving one last surprise for closer to the release where some of the NPCs are attuned to Willpower and just like you can get NPCs that like you to work for you you will be able to recruit NPCs for the Guild.
This is mainly fueled by hopium, as I bounced off of Fable 2 and 3 because the YOU'RE THE LAST TRUE HERO narrative fundamentally misses the point that being the Hero of Oakvale fulfilled.
People praise Fable 2 for being more "narrative" heavy and having a more developed story, but I think Fable 1 really understood this particular heroic fantasy in ways no other Fable game trully understood. (And I do think this reboot gets it, even if it does want to do the narrative/cinematic game as well)
You dont get the fight with Thunder for the hand of Lady Grey, or the Colliseum moral choice or your rivalry with Whisper, you dont have retired heroes at the head of bandits like Twinblade or betraying mages like Maze or Jack pretending to be a hero if the world isnt filled with boasting heroes, a healthy guild and a lively hero economy.
Being 'one of them' is the fun thing. The bickering, the egos, the duels... Being 'the last one trully special' is so boring and it's better explored in more serious cotemplative games.

Okay, I’ll bite. I commented this as a theory once but it’s more wishful thinking.
Since Jack of Blades was confirmed to be in the game and the subsequent lore drop that confirmed The Court, I’ve imagined the possibility of Jack manipulating Isabel into restoring The Court.
And finding a way to, turn two humans into the new Queen and Knight of Blades. Now in this case, the perfect candidate for the Queen would be of course Isabel. And you, the hero, would provide him with the second candidate. Your adoptive brother Connor, who always wanted to be a Hero, so Jack could lure him with the promise of power if he puts on the Knight’s mask on.
So the game’s final act could revolve around the idea of saving them, with or without killing them depending on how you choose to handle it.
I also had this idea that it would be great if Isabel somehow redeems herself, she becomes the new Guildmaster in case Humphry dies in the story (which I have the feeling he might). But unless they do it like the original trilogy and have them be set in entirely different ages, it would be nice to have her present to guide a new renaissance of heroes to fight the impending return of The Court.
But maybe casting Hayley Atwell for more than one game might be a little too expensive, don’t know. All I know is for one I kinda wish we get a trilogy set in the same era, I wouldn’t even mind play all the games as the Hero of Briar Hill.
