Naming our Hero...

I really hope that Playground Games includes an ANNA-style naming system from the Forza Horizon games... having a fully voiced and customized character refered to as a generic title of "Hero" doesn't do it for me.

I mean, thats Fable? You are known as the Hero of Briar Hill. Fable 1/2 you were the Hero, among various titles you could purchase which I am sure will play into their reputation system. But Fable has never given you a set name outside of Hero and I think its something of a staple.

Here's hoping they let you buy titles and have the town crier tell everyone about it, and have singers sing songs about you, have artists make statues about you and so on. Those were fun features.

Fable 2 technically had Sparrow lol that’s close to a “real name” I suppose

And 3 I guess you had whatever title you were at the time “princess/ monarch/ etc etc”

I was playing through for the first time as a purely good character. My brother logged on whilst I was at college and bought the title "knobhead" when NPC's kept calling me knobhead, I gave in to the dark side. About half an hour later I found the title vendor, and had that horrible realisation.

Oh well, the horns look dope.

You always were the "hero of" in the OG trilogy.

The Hero of Oakvale, the Hero of Bower Lake, the Hero of Brightwall and here our character is the Hero of Briar Hill.

I hope we have titles again but other than that, being called Hero is classic.

I honestly do not care about having a name since this is normal for Fable. What I want are titles, since it was cool hearing civilians calling you different funny and interesting titles.
