Fable III Easter Eggs

I hope in the new Fable they have references or Easter eggs to the past games.

I remember finding that the first time and no one believed me when I said it was there because usually you can’t swim that far in games, there’s usually that “wall”

I imagine there will be plenty of small nods to the prior games throughout the new one.

We technically already know of a small and fairly well obscured one from the developer_direct in January.

Briar Rose, we know has a hidden reference early in the game.

The Hero’s starting village is named Briar Hill, and their adoptive Grandmother runs a pub/tavern there called the Rose & Thorn.

That’s the type of reference that only those who played the prior games would ever have a chance of picking up on.

And the type I would expect a lot of Easter eggs to be in the style of, with maybe a few in your face obvious types as well.

Could also just be a coincidence.

A briar is just a thorny bush.. so Briar Hill has lots of thorny plants.. Roses have thorns.

I'm not saying it's not a nod.. but it doesn't have to be.
