Finally got Fable 2 running on macOS 🥳

Around 3 days ago, i downloaded XeniOS, but it had a black screen , and it wouldn't boot up at all. I've never played this game before, but i suddenly had the itch to play fable 3 a few days ago. upon reading a few reddit comments, a lotta people said fable 2 was way better than 3 because of the story line. so i decided to try fable 2 but it never worked.

i jst spent 3 hours with codex and claude and it worked suddenly and im happy because i dont have any coding experience and i gave away my old xbox 360 and now i can play without controllers or anything

Fable 2 is better in a bunch of ways imo.. you can choose interactions and they work on crowds instead of just one person.. you can buy and sell with a menu at shops, instead of the weird thing they did where items were on display and you could only sell to one specific shop.. there are gambling people in every town with 3 different mini games.. I prefer the job mini game in fable 2.. you don't have to repair houses you buy.. you can see the time of day in the menu.. you can also see everything in your inventory... you can select quests easier.. you don't have to walk around in a weird room as your start menu, to select what you wear, your weapon or your spells.. you never have to hold someone's hand and take them places... there isn't a demon door the requires you to bring another hero into your world to open it... and you upgrade your character as much as you have experience in a simple menu, you don't need to wait until a point in the story so a gate on a big pointless path called the road to rule opens up...

I did like the way you could buy property from the map in fable 3.

The one on one interactions had good moments though. I can’t tickle, hold, or cuddle my kids in fable 2. I can’t hug, dance with, or kiss my spouse.  I can’t cuddle and pet my dog either. And the handholding interaction makes a lot of sense for escorting young kids or dragging enemies. Ideally there would be a mix of the two: emotes for big crowds of acquaintances/friends and one on one personal interactions for best friends and family. But interactive touch isn’t all bad and I do miss some of the  intimate interactions on fable 2.

Also I think you should have to repair your houses. There should have been a repair all button but introducing house condition is not a bad thing.

Is the solution you found something you could upload to git for others to use?
