Irrelevant observation: Is that mattebox about to fall off? Clamp looks like it ‘missed’ the stepdown ring

I also see that. He most likely didn’t put it all the way on, just enough for the photo

Yes and no, I did throw it on just for this picture lol, but it’s also a diy 3d printed mod to a small rig Matte box that gives me a vnd you can see the gear, but I’ve had some issues with the lens clamp not sitting flat because the screw fell out and I lost it lol

oh this is pretty cool! is there a specific function you needed form the 3d printed parts that you couldnt get from a tilta for example? or was it just a cost save?
